You can do anything

I felt a theme for this week emerge for me as I listened to Tayler Richards talk. He spoke about how we can do anything that we set our mind to in our lives but that we need to involve the Lord in what we do. Then Elder Holland shared a story about himself when he was a young dad and how he learned to just keep going and believe that "Good things will come".  As our family embarks upon a new journey in a completely new area with a new job and starting our own business again this next year,  the thoughts of will it all work out keep coming up in my mind. However, we can't know the future when we make our goals so all we can do is to involve the Lord and put him first and then just keep trying with faith. This is also what I'm trying to teach my children and especially my oldest son right now. He is thinking about where he will serve a mission and what to focus on for a career as well as what hobbies and sports to concentrate on. I had the impression to just help him focus on his testimony and involving the Lord in all his decisions through prayer and everything will work out.
